"A Delightful Dining Experience"
I recently enjoyed a meal at this restaurant, and I gotta say, it was a truly wonderful time. Right from the entrance, the staff welcomed me with warmth. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, featuring soft lighting and tasteful decor.

Now, let’s get into the food. Wow, it was just heavenly! I went for the chef's special, which was a steak cooked to perfection, paired with a mouthwatering sauce.

"The decline in support from Personal Capital"
Personal Capital, which is now called Empowerment, just ain't the same responsive company I used to know. Their dashboard and financial planning tools have always been spot on and super informative.

Back in the day, if there were any hiccups, their support crew would sort things out in a couple of weeks, sometimes even the next day. But now, things have really gone downhill. The support team seems to be lacking in responsiveness and can't even give a ballpark estimate for when issues will be fixed. I get that IT can be tricky, but this whole situation makes me worry about whether their staff can really tackle and solve problems effectively. It's pretty clear that some changes are needed.

"This is the best aggregator tool I've ever used."
Honestly, this is the top-notch tool I've found for getting a full picture of my portfolio.

Keep up the awesome work!

Just a quick note: be ready for some marketing calls trying to get you to join their active management group (where they manage your finances for a fee) - but I get that building the app needs some cash.

"Looking to use the retirement calculator."
I really hope the retirement calculator allows me to tweak the returns based on what I want. Also, it’d be awesome if I could fix any wrong info that gets pulled in from my accounts. Right now, there’s no way to correct any errors, and that can be pretty annoying.

"These deals are just scams, and the fees are way too high."
Back in May, I got a promotional deal that said I’d earn a $100 cash reward if I took part in two calls with a financial advisor and got a portfolio recommendation. I was curious, so I ended up having a few more calls and really thought about their services. But after giving it some thought, I chose to pass on their services for now. Good thing I did, 'cause it was a smart move.

Months have gone by, and I still haven’t seen that promised reward. If you stumble upon a similar offer, I’d strongly suggest not wasting your time. I’ve been in touch with their support team for weeks, but all they keep saying is that they’re "reviewing my case" without giving me any idea of when it might get sorted.

While Personal Capital does an okay job of tracking assets, I wouldn’t trust them with my money or time. It feels like their main goal is to push their overpriced financial services instead of actually caring about their customers.

"Room for Improvement on Your Site"
To enhance your website, it’d be great to add features like those found on Morningstar, including a manual portfolio option instead of just a total control system. Right now, there’s no way to add dividends or keep track of historical data. I tried reaching out for help, but I was told that only email support is available, and there’s no chance to chat with a live person. I was looking for a new free option since Morningstar has switched to a paid model, which isn’t ideal for my budget. If you choose to revamp your site and focus on making it more user-friendly and improving customer support, I’d love to hear about it. Until then, I’ll keep looking for other options or just stick with Morningstar.

"Totally let down by Personal Capital's support."
The desktop app from Personal Capital is quite powerful, but sadly, their customer support is nearly useless. They don’t have a phone number for direct help and there’s no chat option either. Instead, they let users explain their problems, but the reply is just a standard email. This isn’t helpful at all. Because of this, I’m on the lookout for a different app.

"Personal Capital is often a mess."
Personal Capital keeps having issues. I've sent in a bunch of support requests, but most haven't helped at all. It doesn't connect with big financial players like Citi Card, Amazon, Navia, and a few more. This is super annoying, and I'm thinking about going back to Mint or checking out other options. The support for pulling together my accounts is really lacking.

"I'm a huge fan of Personal Capital!"
I'm a huge fan of Personal Capital! It's given me a clear picture of my total net worth like never before. The app makes it super easy to monitor my spending categories and see how my expenses stack up against last month. With several retirement accounts, having everything brought together in one place is just fantastic. I can't recommend Personal Capital enough. Both the desktop and mobile versions are really easy to use.

"This company is super untrustworthy."
This company is super untrustworthy. They sneakily check your transactions and account balance, and they keep bothering customers with calls pushing pointless services. Their email support? Don't even get me started; they just send out cookie-cutter replies that don’t address the real problem. To really highlight their unprofessionalism, I got a response from them that totally ignored my feedback. It's honestly a joke.

"Once a great company, now facing some challenges."
I’ve seen a lot of folks giving high marks for their free services. But I’m here to talk about their financial advisory offerings.

This company was top-notch at first, but things took a turn when ownership changed hands. After that, their performance took a nosedive. They promoted their pricey 0.89% service fee as beating the index by 1% thanks to their so-called stellar diversification plan. In reality, they fell short by 1%, making a robo-account a better bet. They used to have fantastic advisors, but then staff turnover shot up. By the time I made my exit, the advisors weren’t even replying to emails. Plus, the dashboard was always having issues that never got fixed.

"A must-have tool for those serious about budgeting and saving cash."
For anyone really dedicated to keeping an eye on their expenses and handling their budget, Personal Capital is a must. It genuinely helps in seeing your spending patterns and spotting spots where you can cut back. Connecting all your accounts has been a breeze, and the tech behind Personal Capital is top-notch. And hey, since it’s free, there’s no excuse not to give it a shot!

"I totally recommend Personal Capital!"
I've been using Personal Capital for a couple of years now, and it's been super helpful in keeping my budget in check and giving me a clear, current view of my spending and finances.

Sometimes, I do get a little annoyed when there are delays in transactions showing up, since it stops me from updating the categories right away. But other than this small hiccup, I really enjoy using Personal Capital because it's so easy to navigate. And the fact that it doesn't cost anything makes it even more awesome in terms of value.

"I really love having a place to keep up with..."
I really love having a site where I can keep track of everything for free. It's a safe environment that appreciates my efforts. Still, while I can handle my own portfolio just fine, PC has helped me spot the assets that come with a super high expense ratio. I'm really grateful for that. But, if I let this institution take care of my investments, I'd be paying a management fee that matches the expense ratio, which feels kinda contradictory.
